Why choose an ESPEC test chamber?

What makes ESPEC chambers better? How does this benefit you?
Universal Web Controller The Universal Web Controller is an embedded server/software solution that allows monitoring and programming your chamber via any browser-enabled device on your network. (Learn More)
Touch-screen programmer The P-300 brings a high-end user interface to everyone…without a premium price. It is remarkably easy to use and understand. (Learn More)
Electronic Expansion Valves Our cutting-edge controller, The P-300, is capable of utilizing EVs or Electronic Expansion Valves. EVs allow advanced temperature control and greatly extend the service life of solenoid valves.
Specimen power terminal Nearly every ESPEC chamber includes a safety relay for product power. You can interlock any externally-powered devices with this relay terminal. In the case of a system shut-down, the device is also turned off. This avoids the risk of heat damage to your samples or the chamber if powered products were allowed to continue running with the chamber off.
C-Frame refrigeration High-performance and custom systems include our exclusive C-frame refrigeration design. Built around an internal frame (shaped like a “C”, hence the name), it is assembled and leak-checked as a module, prior to integration with the chamber. A standard service panel and hinged access panels simplifies maintenance.
Doorframe thermal break ESPEC uses a special doorframe made of resin on most models. This creates a thermal break between the inside and outside of the chamber, lessening thermal creep and the potential for frost or condensation on the exterior. Thermal breaks are used at other critical points, as well.
Stainless steel consruction Stainless steel interior workspace with rounded corners for durability and easy cleaning come standard on all ESPEC chambers, most models also feature a stainless steel exterior.
Hinged service panels For the convenience of our customers, ESPEC hinges service access panels wherever possible. This saves the user the trouble of lifting off bulky panels, and screwing them back in place, as is common with other manufacturers. Simple hand-operated latches make opening a panel quick and easy.
HAST chamber We are one of only a handful of companies to offer Highly Accelerated Stress Test chambers. These units can accelerate typical humidity tests by a factor of 50 for ICs. Qualify your parts in hours, not days. (Learn More)
SH benchtop models These models are the smallest humidity chambers in the industry. They are great for the individual user who needs a chamber for testing small devices in a tight lab or office environment. (Learn More)
Qualmark HALT chambers Qualmark is now the ESPEC HALT/HASS division. Identify product failure modes quickly with a combination of pseudo-random repetitive shock vibration, liquid nitrogen cooling for extreme temperature ramps or traditional, mechanical cooling for lower operation costs. Who we are

ESPEC North America (ENA) is partner in environmental and accelerated reliability test chambers and solutions with a long history and deep expertise in making the world a better place through better quality, higher reliability products.

Mission

We continually aim to grow and evolve by building mutually responsive, innovative partnerships with our customers, vendors, and strategic allies, and creating opportunities for our team members.

Our cornerstone is to be the most reliable and accessible supplier of testing solutions.

How we got here

ESPEC North America was a true child of the eighties when we were established in 1983 as the North American, fully independent subsidiary of our parent company, ESPEC Corp, based in Kobe, Japan. ENA is headquartered in Hudsonville, Michigan where we design, manufacture, sell and support both our American-made models and some of our parent company’s Japanese environmental chambers in a 136,000 square foot plant whose Quality Management System is certified as being in conformity with ISO 9001:2015 by Intertek.

Almost 40 years of experience building test chambers in America goes into everything we create, from smaller standard equipment, to large custom chambers. Quality is designed into our processes, built into our equipment, and the lifeblood of our growth strategy. ENA’s merger with Qualmark in 2018 further corroborates this and expanded our product line, as well as our manufacturing, engineering, and support infrastructure. With a significant investment in a brand new, state of the art, LEEDTM certified building in Colorado, we are capable of even more dynamic and responsive service to our customers, especially along the West Coast. Our new Colorado facility boasts about 28,000 square feet with the potential to expand as we continue to grow; not to mention, a dedicated HALT/HASS lab with room for environmental testing services.

We have established a network of highly trained and qualified Independent Sales Representatives that are ready to help you navigate the chamber selection process, streamline purchasing, and engage our industry expert partners. Beyond Sales, ENA works hard to make expert Service techs ready and available to address start ups and customer needs when they arise. Our leading industry partners like Airgas, Air Liquide, Acme/Midwest Cryogenics, and others come together to further support and benefit our customers so you receive the best experience and offering in the marketplace.
